Announcing our great lineup of Deaf and Hard of Hearing BIPOC Presenters for the 2021 Camp Sol Virtual Summer Camp!

This week we want to highlight some diverse presenters we will have at the virtual event this year. The Camp Sol includes an amazing mix of community leaders, talented artists, the Deaf Institute Board of Trustees, and teachers who all help campers thrive and build a sense of purpose in life. We are thrilled to spotlight Akilah English, Juan Bernal, Roberto Sandoval, Zandrea Pitterson, Syd Ahmed, Jennifer Tandoc, Teddy Dorsette III, Ivy Velez, Gabriel Arellano, Maria Hernandez and Evelis Vélez.

Our virtual camp offers a wide range of enrichments for keeping youths and teens busy, learning, and having fun. With experienced instructors and BIPOC presenters, youth and teens get to take this opportunity of learning opportunities, they wouldn't have otherwise. Hola, Happy Saturday!

Update: We, Camp Sol, want to congratulate your child from k-12 on your graduation. Class of 2021!

We are excited to host our virtual summer camp from July 26th-29th, 2021 (Monday through Thursday from 10-12 and 1-3:30pm) Age 9-11, Ages 12-14 and Ages 15-21. We provide HANDS-ON activities to keep your child busy, learning, and having fun.

What are you doing from July 26th-29th? Grab the opportunity to join us our virtual summer camp. Your child will enjoy learning, positive high self-esteem and FUN. Lucky your child will meet our wonderful BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color presenters. The topics are STEMS, Filmmaker, Mexican Art, ASL Storytelling, Jamaican Dance, ASL performers, Asian Sign Story, Dance/Art, and many more....
