About Us

Mission

To create a welcoming, educational and recreational experiences for all children in a diverse environment, increase multicultural and social interactions, explore their Deaf identity and develop leadership skills.

Vision


To promote Deaf Leadership skills among children participating in this camp through Deaf staff members who are also positive role models

To encourage children to develop leadership skill and apply these skills in their respective communities.

To expand their knowledge of Deaf Culture, American Sign Language and acceptance of diverse cultural groups.

To provide enrichment activities in order to develop self-confidence within a safe environment. 


Campamento Sol para Sordos

Establecido para crear experiencias acogedoras, educativas y recreativas para todos los niños en un entorno diverso, aumentar las interacciones multiculturales y sociales, explorar su identidad sorda y desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo.

Nuesta Vision

Promover las habilidades de liderazgo de los niños sordos que participan en este campamento a través de miembros sordos del personal que también son modelos positivos. 

Alentar a los niños a desarrollar habilidades de liderazgo y aplicarlas en sus respectivas comunidades

Expandir sus conocimientos sobre la cultura de los sordos, el lenguaje de señas americano y la aceptación de diversos grupos culturales

​Proveer actividades de enriquecimiento
para desarrollar la confianza en uno mismo en un entorno seguro.
