Registration is now open for the Camp Sol of the Deaf, Inc (CSD) Hispanic Heritage Month 2021 - It is our first-ever event during Hispanic Heritage Month. 
​
This year's theme is "Renew, Reinvest, Restart". Deaf Latino and Hispanic students will have the opportunity to virtually meet a panel of Deaf Hispanic/Latino presenters to explore their own identities, develop positive self-esteem, and become leaders within the Deaf Hispanic/Latino Community. We also welcome parents of Deaf children of all ages to meet our organization of Deaf role models.

Other presenters have included Zoila Barazarte ("Traditional Piñata Workshop"), Evelis Velez ("The Colors of Love"),  Roberto Sandoval ("Living Legends: Successful Latinos/Hispanic Deaf People") and Jose-Ovi Velasquez ("Start with a Seed"). 

Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. We will host a lively visual and artistic deaf leadership events which will showcase our Hispanic culture and Heritage.

Camp Sol of the Deaf, Inc  is proud to present "Learning Experience for Deaf BIPOC" on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm EST.   

Join us for a special panel discussion featuring five Deaf and Hard of Hearing BIPOC panelists, moderated by John A. Serrano. (Parent Invitation only) 

Parents/caregivers of Deaf children are encouraged to register their children for this free virtual event. Deaf parents are welcome to attend, and we encourage them to look into our summer camp program for Deaf children. The Zoom link will be emailed to the registered participants closer to the event. 

Registration is required to attend this free event.

Join us for virtual summer camp via Zoom

Our virtual camp offers a wide range of enrichments for keeping youths and teens busy, learning, and having fun. With experienced instructors and BIPOC presenters, youth and teens get to take this opportunity of learning opportunities, they wouldn't have otherwise. LIVE & SILENT AUCTION

Silent Auction is back! However, we know that with the pandemic still holding us in this grip, this is the best decision for everyone’s safety.

There is good news! We are going to host a virtual event and do our best to make everyone still feel our love. This Facebook Live event will be held on Saturday, April 24th from 7pm-8:30pm and will give our supporters from around the world and the community the opportunity to join us in this fundraiser event. And, it will be fun! We will have a facilitator Joyce Hom for our silent auction event. Please mark your calendar and join us on April 24th to help us make this event happen!
