What: CSD Community kick-off meeting When: Saturday, September 28, 2019 Time: 12:00pm to 4:00pm Where: Camp Sol of the Deaf, Inc 3506 Palisade Avenue Union City, NJ 07087 Join us at Camp Sol of the Deaf, Inc with stakeholders, attendees, directors, and interpreters to plan out all potential programs or work that we will do to better serve their deaf and hard of hearing campers of colors. The event is invitation-only, however we will be holding a first stakeholder meeting. If you plan to drive a car, please let Mayra Castro know as soon as possible. It allows her time to ask the city hall to get you the parking pass permit. If you plan to travel from NYC, take the 159 zone 2 bus. What: Summer Camp Parent Information Night When: Thursday, May 15, 2019 Time: 7:00 pm to 8:30pm Where: St. Joseph - Lower Community Center 320 64th Street West New York, NJ 07903 The Camp Sol of Deaf will host a Summer Camp Parent Information Night on Thursday, May 15, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This event is open to both parents and families who are already registered or who are considering registration. Camp Director Mayra Castro will provide a camp experience presentation, as well as an explanation of the summer camp registration process and camp safety. There will also be an open Q&A session. Afterwards, she will be available for a meet-and- greet. Camp Sol of the Deaf offers a one-week summer camp experience July 14 to July 20.
