Our summer BIPOOC staff is dedicated to creating a safe environment where deaf and hard of hearing campers can expect to learn deaf culture, make friends, have fun, and discover things about themselves.
Our team is staffed by well-trained and dynamic deaf and hard of hearing Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) individuals, who act as positive role models. The knowledge and skill of our staff allow them to excel in their roles as camp counselors, photographers and teachers and create an atmosphere that fosters and increases a self-confidence and resilience to our campers.
We are grateful these individuals are ready to meet our campers this summer. They have dedicated their summer to creating friendship, learning new skills, developing character and teaching deaf culture at camp.
