Workshop Description:

Amy Aillon and Francisca Rangel will host a workshop, “I Am What I Am”. This workshop, “I Am What I Am”, is for the participants of the Camp Sol for the Deaf, Inc. Two topics, Identity (who I am) and Intersectionality (how I prioritize myself) will be the focus. The goal of this workshop is for the participants to communicate, inform, remind, share and show others who they are. The participants in youth and teen groups will be given the opportunity to discuss in depth about their experiences. Through this workshop, our participants will have opportunity to do their own self-analysis, to get to know oneself better. The facilitators will also expose them to different kinds of phrases as examples. In addition, topics such as how to approach people tactfully, how we can best present our information, our experiences at the same time educate others.

Feel free to forward this message who may be interested or contact csdnj2016@gmail.com if you have any questions.
