Edwin King was an assistant to the School Guidance Counselor at Brown’s Town School for the Deaf in Jamaica, West Indies in 2019, where I assist teaching the children in classroom and do role plays. Also lead the all-boys after school program and mentoring 6th graders. Additional, Interacted with Teachers and Deaf Culture Facilitators by acquiring Jamaica Sign Language.
Edwin had previously held several position in the Food Service Industry, serving as Manager and Alumni Relations at the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University. As well as working
as a Dorm Assistant at MSSD.
Edwin creates PowerPoints and provides presentations that engage ,empower and encourage students about growth and the quality of life from Elementary to High School. Edwin earned a degree in Hotel, Food & Beverage Management from Johnson & Wales University. Edwin is looking forward to completing his masters in Mental Health Counseling.
